Log Window

This area displays real-time logs of POPcon's operations, such as email retrieval attempts, connections to email servers, and any errors or messages encountered during the process. It provides valuable information for troubleshooting and monitoring the system.

Show log update checkbox

The Show log update checkbox controls whether the log window should automatically scroll to display the most recent entries. If checked, the log will continuously update as new information is logged. If unchecked, users can manually scroll through the log without it jumping to the latest entry.

Configure button

The Configure button opens the configuration settings of POPcon. Here, users can add or remove email accounts, configure POP3/IMAP settings, define email forwarding rules, and modify other relevant parameters for the POPcon service.

Download now button

The Download now button manually triggers an immediate download of emails from the configured email servers. Normally, POPcon checks for new mail at regular intervals, but this button allows users to force a mail cycle outside of the normal schedule.

Exit button

The Exit button closes the POPconAdmin interface. This does not stop the background POPcon service; it simply exits the administrative interface.
